Air Brake (Q Endorsement)
Air brakes are used on some medium‐duty and all heavy‐duty vehicles. The air braking system is basically a series of valves forcing compressed air through the system to generate a constant supply of air which is then used to apply the brakes.
-
This is a powerful system, and care must be taken to learn how to properly use the system and the potential hazards.
-
This 2‐Day Air Brake or ‘Q’ Endorsement Course teaches participants how the air brake system works, its many components, how to operate the air brake system and to identify defects in the system.
-
Written and practical Air Brake testing will be completed throughout the curriculum of this 2‐Day course. Successful participants will be able to have the ‘Q’ Endorsement added to their licence 5 business days after completion of this course. Please visit DriveTest centre near you to add the 'Q' endorsement to your license.
-
There are no additional fees or tests.
Class 2 (S Endorsement)
In addition to our internal training program, we offer driver training services to the general public. Course offerings include Class 2 (40 hours), Class 2S (52 hours), and S Endorsement. All of our Instructors are licensed through Alberta Transportation and have 10+ years of both industry and training experience which offers a wealth of real-world experience to teach from.
Since opening, our driver training school has graduated thousands of professional drivers – and you could be the next one. Our class 2 commercial transportation and school bus driver training will help you learn the necessary driving skills to be hireable and accelerate at the following jobs:
-
Commercial transportation bus drivers
-
School bus drivers
-
Special activity bus drivers
-
Tour bus drivers
-
Drive any vehicle allowed in class 4 and 5

Class 3

Our Class 3 Standard Program will ensure you are ready for any class 3 job opportunities that come your way as you will gain experience with pre-trip inspection training, city driving, backing, and other driving maneuvers. Job opportunities for class 3 drivers are widely available and typically provide a local driving route, regular days off, and being home every night. Class 3 training is considered part-time training and start dates are provided on a continuous & rotating intake, based on student & instructor availability. If you're looking to learn or train specifically on a dump truck, we now offer automatic dump truck training.
This program includes:
-
20 hours - On-road training, pre-trip and road test
